Le présent éternel (2026)

A new work by Grammy-nominated composer Nathalie Joachim, scored for double octets of bass, brass, and percussion, plus electroacoustics and four vocalists. A contemplation on the meaning of freedom and personal autonomy, blending citations from the constitutions of the United States and Haiti with folkloric songs from Haiti. The composer notes it is "an opera in progress" and may evolve into a fully staged presentation.
